We have different types for you to choose. 0.5J is for 5km; 1J is for 10km; 2J is for 20km; 3.5J is for 30km; 4.8J is for 45km.

We have 3 types: DC 12V, AC 110V-240V and solar 12V.

We suggest 4.8J energizer. Because elephants have thicker skin.

Our string is 2m. If you would like to adjust the string to make it longer, please contact us so that we can make the adjustments to your unit as necessary.

The weight should be 300g~1kg.

Because aluminum is light. It will cost low power consumption. And aluminum is hard to be rust. Looks really beautiful.

Normally, the new batteries can be used for more than 6 months.

This is normal. The LCD display ‘goes to sleep’ after a period of inactivity to increase battery life. You can reawaken your unit by pressing MENU.

Please kindly check if the aluminum rods are too tight. Or you can add some lubricating oil into the rods. to the rods.

If you get a low battery warning light after you have installed new batteries, please check that the new batteries are fully charged.

Please check if the battery has reversed polarity.

It means the battery power is low. Please change new battery.In normal, the light will 1 time each 10 seconds.

To be honest, the HPS Fence automatic chicken coop door is with low power consumption, it can be used for more than 6 months. It will cost more power consumption in winter. Please use high quality batteries.

Here are two reasons for the line in wrong direction.

A.The PCB is bad. Please test the PCB by “PCB test video”.

B.The PCB is ok, you need to rewind. Please check the “string rewind video”.

Please rewind the string according to the “string rewind video”.

Please reinstall the line according to the “string reinstall video”.

Yes, using pulleys well also sell in our store you can have alternative configurations.

Plsease kindly adjust the HPS Fence automatic chicken coop door’s suitable full openning position by “RST” button and reset the current time. Please kindly check the video “how to reset afer replacing the batteries”.

Before you plug the battery box back, pls press any button for 3 seconds to release the after-current.

No, the time does not change automatically. This means you will have to change the time and settings on your unit as necessary when the clocks go forward/back.

The setting will be saved after you see this screen and press the left button one more time. And then the screen will back to current time interface.

If the HPS Fence automatic chicken coop door is directly illuminated by the sun, the infrared will affect the HPS Fence automatic chicken coop door.

All of our units are thoroughly tested 48 hours before they leave the factory.  Please ensure that you have not pinched the battery cable wire between the lid and the box and you have correctly inserted 4XAA batteries with a good connection and that they are oriented correctly. Lastly, check that you haven’t pulled on any connector cables. Duracell batteries are not recommended.

The string wound around the gear.

The string goes out totally and then wind in wrong direction.

PCB was bad. Please check the PCB according to “PCB test video”.

Here are many reasons:

A.The wrong setting.

B.The aluminum rods installed too tight so the door can’t move smoothly.

C.The string wound around the gear or knotted.

D.PCB is bad. Please check the “PCB test video”.

E.The battery power run out. Please check if the battery showing is around 30% with the light flash frequently.

F.The string is not in the correct location. It should follow the same way as the white line on PCB.

When you test AD001’s PCB, please turn the light sensor adjuster’s arrow at around 8 o’clock position.
